Scarecrow building is one of the indispensable parts of gardens. Although there is no definite opinion as to whether the scarecrows keep hungry birds away from the garden, it is worth keeping them in your garden, even with its decorative and entertaining aspect. Moreover, you can also use your shrinking clothes as a scarecrow for your garden. But remember that we need to water your messy hair regularly. You can prune it as it extends or you can stretch it for a crazy look!
Stages of building a Scarecrow
- Cut the fixing bar into two parts in 180 cm and 100 cm dimensions. Tie the bars crosswise with a thick twine rope. Since the horizontal part forms the shoulders of your scarecrow, the vertical part should be connected at a distance up to below 20 cm from the top.
- Put the clothes you have chosen on your scarecrow. You are free to choose the style you like as your outfit. Secure your fun scarecrow firmly to the ground or place it temporarily in a suitable area where you can work. You can then move them to any area.
- Bow the neck area firmly with a kerchief and place the tile pot on top. The nodes that are made with kerchief should support the pot from the bottom. If this is not enough, you should fix the pot to the stick using a triple pin.
- Draw a simple face with paint on your pot. When the paint is dry, fill the soil with the fertilizer mixture into the flowerpot and squeeze the soil inside. Sprinkle the grass seeds over the soil and water it slowly.
- Move the scarecrow to the area where you will use it and fix it firmly in the ground. Make sure the point you fix it is secure. The green hair of your scarecrow will soon grow.
